Shanthi Pushpakumara Jayasekara - The person who has been accused for the murder of Gangodawila Soma Thero ඔබ මොහු හඳුනනවාද? මේ, “මහත්මා ශාන්ති” ලෙස තමාවම හඳුන්වා ගනු ලබන ශාන්ති පුෂ්පකුමාර ජයසේකර නැමැත්තාය. ජයසේකර මුදියන්සේලාගේ ශාන්ත පුෂ්පකුමාර ලෙස ලංකාවේ ලියාපදිංචි මොහු, වැලිමඩ ප්රදේශයේ උපත ලද, උපතින් බෞද්ධයෙකි. එහෙත්, රුසියාවේදී ස්වකීය ආත්ම ලාභය උදෙසා ක්රිස්තියානි ධර්මය වැළඳ ගත් මොහු, දේව ගැතියෙකු ලෙස ප්රකටව, රුසියානු ආගමික අන්තවාදී සරසවියකින් ආචාර්ය උපාධියක් ලබා ගැනීමට සමත් විය. රුසියානු රජයට ඉමහත් හිසරදයක් ව පැවති, ඇමරිකාව විසින් පෝෂණය කරනු ලබන “චෙච්නියානු” ගරිල්ලා මාෆියාව සමඟ සෘජු සබඳතා පැවැත්වූ බව කියන මොහු, බොහෝ ලාංකික දමිළයන්ට, හා එල්.ටී.ටී.ඊ හිතවතුන්ට, හමුදා රැහැණින් මිදී රුසියාවට පලා යන්නට පහසුකම් සලසා දුන් බවද කියැවේ. මුදල් වංචා, ආයුධ වෙළදාම, මිනිස් වහල් සේවය බඳු මාෆියා අපරාධ රැසකට ජාත්යන්තරව සම්බන්ධ බවට සැක ඇති මොහු, රුසියාවේ International University of Fundamental Studies නම් කිසිදු නමක් දිනා නොමැති උපාධි කඩයට අනුබද්ධව පවත්වා ගෙන යන ආයතනයක් මඟින් අපවත් වී වදාල ගංගොඩවිල සෝම හිමිපාණන්ට ආචාර්ය උපාධියක් පුද කරන්නට උන් වහන්සේව රුසියාවට වඩමවා ගත්තේය. මේ වන විට සෝම හිමි ඝාතනයේ ප්රධානතම සැකය යොමු වී ඇත්තේ මොහු වෙතය. සෝම හිමි හදිසියේ ගිලන් වූ වග අසා බොහෝ බොදුවන් වහ වහා මුදල් පරිත්යාග කරන්නට ඉදිරිපත් වුවත් මොහු ඒ ප්රතිකාර කිසිවක් ලැබෙන්නට සලස්වා නැති බවට සැලවෙමින් පවතී..එමෙන්ම සෝම හිමිව ප්රධාන නගරයක නොතබා, අතිශයින් හුදෙකළා, හොල්මන් මන්දිරයක් බඳු වරුසියාවේ අතිශය දුෂ්කර ගම්මානයක රඳවා තබාගෙන සිට ඇත්තේද මොහු බවට සැක පහළ වෙමින් පවතී. ඒ කරුණු කාරණා සැබෑවක් නම් “ගංගොඩවිල සෝම සමිඳුන්ගේ ඝාතනයේ පළමු වග උත්තර කරුවා” මේ පුද්ගලයාය. පහත දැක්වෙන්නේ ඔහුගේ පුද්ගලික වෙබ් අඩවියයි. http://www.mahatmashanti.com/ මාෆියා මුදලින් මොහු ධනවත් වූ වග කියන්නේ ශ්රී ලාංකිකයන් පමණක් ොවේ. රුසියාවේ සිටින විවිධ ජාතිකයන්ද එයම කියති. මොහුගේ මූලිකත්වයෙන්ම දැන් රුසියාවේ උපාධි හදාරන්නට පැමිණෙන බොදු, තරුණ, තරුණියන්ව ක්රිස්තියානි නිකායකට හරවා ගැනීමක් සිදුවන බවටද රාවයක් පැතිර යමින් පවතී. මොහුට ලංකාවේ බොහෝ දේපළ ඇත. නමුත්, එවැන්නෝ එසේ පසු වෙද්දී, ගංගොඩවිල සෝම හිමිගේ ඝාතනය සම්බන්ධයෙන් පත් කළ කොමිසමට කුමක් වුණාදැයි අසන්නට ඒ ගැන අළෙවි කොට දේශපාලනයට පිවිසි කිසිවෙකුටත් උනන්දුවක් නොමැත. රුසියාවේ මෙවැනිම තවත් විශ්ව විද්යාලයක් යැයි කියා ගන්නා ආගමික මධ්යස්ථානයක් තුළදී සිංහල තරුණියන් දෙදෙනෙකු අමු නිරුවතින් තටාකයක බස්සවා බෞතීස්ම කරන ජුගුප්සා ජනක දසුනක් පිළිබඳවද රාවයක් මේ දිනවල යුරෝපයට රුසියාවෙන් ආ සිංහල තරුණයන් පිරිසක් නිසා පැතිරෙමින් පවතින බැවින් හදිසියේ මේ පුද්ගලයාවද සිහිපත් විය. ඒ සිද්ධියට මොහුගේ සම්බන්ධයක් ඇත්දැයි නොදනිතත්, රුසියාවට අධ්යාපනය සඳහා යන ලාංකිකයන් ගැන කවුරුවත් සොයා බලනවාද??.. චන්ද්රිකා කුමාරතුංග පාලනයට සෝම හිමිට කුමක් වූවාදැයි සොයා බලන්නට “සැබෑ” වුවමනාවක් නොතිබිණි. ඒ ගැන තේරුම් ගැනීමට හැක. මක් නිසාද ඒ පාලනය යනු, සෝම හිමි තබා බුදු හිමි වැඩ සිට, බුදු හිමියන්ට ජීවිත තර්ජනයක් කවුරුන් හෝ එල්ල කළත් ඇහැක් ඇර නොබලන පාලනයක් වීමෙනි. නමුත්, මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ ජනාධිපති තුමනි! සෝම හිමි කොමිසම නිසි පරිදි එහි අරමුණු කරා යොදවනු මැනවි! එමෙන්ම, දේශයට පියෙකු වන් ඔබතුමාගේ, රුසියාවට යන දූ දරුවන් ගැන මීට වඩා සොයා බලනු මැනවි! එංගලන්තයේ, ඕස්ට්රේලියාවේ, කැනඩාවේ හා ඇමරිකා එක්සත් ජනපදයේ, මුල් බැස ගත්, බලවත් හා ධනවත් සිංහල පවුල් හා වෙහෙර විහාර ඇති හෙයින්, ඒ රටවලට යන අපේ බෞද්ධ සිසු, සිසුවියන් ගැන සොයා බලන්නට අඩුම තරමේ “සිංහල සමාජයක්” එහි ඇත. නමුත් සිංහල බලය ක්ෂීණ, බෞද්ධ බලය අතිශයින් දුර්වල රුසියාවටත්, පැරැණි සෝවියට් රටවලටත් යන බෞද්ධයන්ට කුමක් වනවාදැයි සොයන්නට ඒවායේ ක්රියාත්මක තකතීරු “දූත” සේවා අසමත්ය… The following images describe that the death of Venerable Gangodawila Soma Thero, was not a natural death and it was a murder! There are several suspects belonging to the murder of Soma Thero and still the current UPFA Government hasn’t get an action to investigate the situation. From long ago there were lots of threats to the Sinhala Buddhist Patriots and the editor of the below images accuses that Shanthi Jayasekara was involving with with this murder. Also lots of Buddhist people in Sri Lanka believe that Christian Extremists killed Venerable Gangodawila Soma Thero as he acts against them. “Venerable Gangodawila Soma Thera of the Vajiraramaya Maharagama died in St. Petersburg, Russia on 12 December 2003 in his 56th year. He was in Russia to accept an honorary doctorate conferred by the Russian Government. He was rushed to a hospital in St Petersburg after a heart attack. He underwent two emergency operations. Sri Lankans were shocked and saddened by his death. The circumstances of his death aroused suspicion. It was widely believed that he was murdered by Christian fundamentalists. Therefore two autopsy tests were carried out. A commission was appointed to investigate the death. Out of the four people in the commission, 3 deduced that it was intentional but the other thought the evidence was not enough.” source: wikipedia The Sinhala Budhists in Sri Lanka must pressure to the current government and specially to the Hon. Mahinda Rajapaksa and the “Ministry of Buddhist Affairs” to re investigate this crime as the current government is appointed by the majority of Sinhala Buddhists.
I would like to gather & show some important historical events, historical people & how much of the Sri Lankan history has been altered up to today, the year 2009. My intentions in writing this article is to collect information in the sake of Sinhala Buddhists all round the world to be proud of their glorious history & hopefully that we do much more to find, research, restore & save our history for the future generations to come. (Sri Lankan history is a very broad subject, but hear I have taken a much smaller portion from it.)
Our ”human history is dating from as early as 18,000 BC”[1] & the Buddhist history as early as lord Buddhas first visit to Sri Lanka[2]. If we talk about the first visit of Lord Buddha to Sri Lanka & the expectations of Lord Buddha, was that to establish Buddhism in the island. Who was on the island when this historical event happened ? It was a group of people who called them selves as ”Yakka”[3]. But they were not civilized & after the lord Buddhas visit, these people became civilized & Buddhists. So if there was civilised Buddhist Yakka people in Sri Lanka after this event, how can our civilization begins from ”Vijaya”[4] a banished prince from India. What is the purpose of saying that, after Vijaya our civilization began ? Is this the truth about our civilization & our roots of origin ? Sinhala people have their origins from the ”Lanka king Ravana”[3]. From what I have heard, the idea to say that ”after Vijaya our civilization began” was to combine the Sinhala peoples roots to Vijaya, whom had a close family roots to Lord Buddha. Personally I do not see any problem, if something is true. But if we are forced to believe something is true but it is Not, then I can not except that. Later on we became under colonialists three times in the past. More peaces of our true history was forgotten & some times we were forced to forget ! Things like our own ancient marshal arts ”Angam Pora” & many other cultural & historical things & some things were lost forever, only myths are left today. I think it is now the time to dig deep & restore our true identity ones & for all in this world. It’s now or newer. Further more ”it is time for us to stop believing things as it have been don for long time, but start finding the truth”(Soma thero).
