First of all I appreciate the talents of the above writer for saying the truth so tactfully. Although the words in the heading say something its meaning intends something different.
It is a fact that GSF had enough power and position; and still he has it so there is no need for him to be greedy of power and position but could be someone else.
The white flag issue was expressed by someone else; a mediaman according to GSF and not him. Further the video proves that any misbehavior of the armed force could be related to someone and not him. It is not just the while flag issue which has put Sri Lanka in a war crime tribunal but there are many other well recorded evidence which are in fact hidden behind the white flag issue to fool the general public.
The story of the war is so long and GSF should be given enough freedom to bring everything to day light because it is he who fought it being on the ground and not someone else who were in A/C rooms. Unfortunately SGF is not fully released but still he is on bail and there are some other convictions waitng for him. Providing full freedom and ultimate safety to SGF only will pave facts the way to come out the and not following anyone else blindly as said above.
That is the way we pay tribute to someone who has done something good for the country and community.

2) Majaor General Sawendra Silva & Journalist in Jathika Rupavahini( who was in the front line) sold the videos to the western countries. Due to that all could know what did happen to last days of the final war.
3)Channel 4 developed the vedios with help of vedios given by Savendra silva & the report.
4) General Fonseka didn’t tell any thing about the White Flag. He said that there are rumors.
